Tunbridge Wells Literary Festival – Creative Legacies: Rhianna Pratchett in Conversation with Harry Whittaker

Tunbridge Wells Literary Festival | Little Vic Theatre | 10th May, 10am. 2025

What’s it like growing up with a literary legend at the breakfast table?

From Discworld to The Seven Sisters, Terry Pratchett and Lucinda Riley left behind worlds adored by millions. Meeting for the first time in this rather special conversation, Rhianna Pratchett meets Harry Whittaker (author and broadcaster, and keeper of Lucinda Riley’s literary flame) to explore the unique experience of being raised by literary royalty, and continuing their parents’ storytelling careers through videogames, improvised comedy, radio and of course the written word.

Expect musings on creative inheritance, finding your voice in the echo of a giant’s footsteps, and what legacy really means when it’s personal.

Join them for a fascinating Q&A in the RVP’s Little Vic Theatre situated on the first floor, next to HMV.
